Plaster Coving Artisans Changing Directors
White Chapel Art Plaster company limited was formed in the 1980’s by Terry King who had previously been shop foreman at Manchester Art Plasterers.
From its beginnings until the present time White Chapel Art Plaster has built an enviable reputation for service and quality, confirmed by client testimonials.
At Terry’s suggestion an agreement has been reached between co-director and business partner John Bradshaw and Tim Johnson, managing director of Prisma Colour. Tim has agreed to take over Terry’s shareholding and directorship.
Tim and John met when teenagers in the early 1980’s playing cricket for Birch Vale and Thornsett Cricket Club. Tim became club first team captain in the early 1990’s leading the team to successive league and cup doubles in the 1993 and 1994 seasons, a unique feat in the history of the Derbyshire and Cheshire league.
Using the same basic principles that brought sporting success, those of planning, using capable people linked to good organisation Tim was also at the same time building up a successful manufacturing business. Prisma Colour is now a major employer in the High Peak and exports products Worldwide.
Aware of Tim’s past and capabilities, Terry considered him the ideal candidate to take over his shareholding and join as a director, with a view to growing and developing the business whilst retaining the organisations high standards.
Tim Johnson will now be in charge of structure in the company and business development. John Bradshaw will be in control of surveying and site management and Charles Warren will be in charge of production.
Terry has agreed to make himself available on a consultancy basis as and when required so that the knowledge of five decades working in fibrous plastering is still available to the company.
